Don’t get confused with Amdo Café; Amdo Food is a small restaurant where the locals eat. Situated in the main market on the second floor, it is a good stop after the hectic day of shopping but only if you get to find the space. The place is a tiny restaurant which is in the main bazaar. You’ll get to interact with the local people here. 

Amdo food is must visit after tiring shopping for hot momos. The Chicken Chilly garlic chow, as well as Mutton Thukpa with momos, are decent in taste and it is recommended to pay a visit here. Well, one must not go on the interiors rather the food which is tasty to have. Don’t expect a nice and tidy place and instead go for the food which is worth of everything.
