Upon Arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to Hotel or Houseboat for Check in. In the afternoon you take a shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and overnight in Hotel or Houseboat.
Post breakfast we drive to Leh via Sonmarg, One of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. In Sonmarg one can take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Later on you go through Zojila pass where you can have far view of Amarnath camp sights and then you reach Drass (Second habited coldest place in world) you can have lunch at Drass. On the main street there is a board were you can take pictures for the coldest place and then moving on to the War Memorial after that straight to Kargil, on arrival in Kargil we check in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Post breakfast we drive to Uleytokpo / Tingmosgang enroute visiting Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. The oldest structure in Lamayuru is the Singey Lhakhang built by the founder of Alchi Lotsava Rinchen bzangpo in 11th century. After visiting Lamayuru we proceed further to Uleytokpo.and drive to Leh enroute visiting Likir Gompa situated at the windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir and Confluence of The Indus And Zanskar River just after from Nimmu and further to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Upon arrival in Leh you will met by our representative and check in at our hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast around 8:30 am to 9:00 am Drive to Nubra valley via Khardungla (highest motorable road in the World 18380 ft.). above sea level. From the top we can see the most beautiful view of Indus Valley and its snow covered peaks towering the sky and other side of the pass if weather remains clear we can see the Karakorum mountain range and peaks too.With the zigzag trail continuous and drive till Hundar village. Arrival and enjoy the camel safari at Sand dunes between Disket and Hundar village. Dinner and on Nubra valley.
After breakfast visit Diskit monastery (Big Buddha), were you can have magnificent view of Nubra valley in the morning light and drive back to Leh by same rout crossing Khardongla pass. Night halt at Leh same hotel.
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14500 ft.) through Changla pass the third highest motorable road in the World (17350 ft.) above from sea level. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing colours and fascinating high altitude of the lake. Dinner at the bank of lake in a Swiss tent.
Early morning wakeup will give you a nice photograph of the rising sun over the lake and mountains.After having breakfast you will leave back to Leh enrooting the same rout having a nice panoramic views and landscapes (back to Leh) you can do more shopping on the same day.
After breakfast around 8:00 am to 8:30 am we leave hotel for Tso-mo-ri-ri lake on this route there is a small pass called Namgshangla on the way you can watch Hot spring at Chumathang and half the way drive on the bank of Indus river till Mahey bridge. This lake is the world highest lake and the village on the bank of Tso-mo-ri-ri is (Korzok village) of Nomadic peoples so this will be a fantastic experience for the visitors.
After breakfast you must leave little bit early. The way back is same till Sumdo village and then the car will take left for the white lake called the Tso-kar lake and there is also a hot spring at Puga village and the view was magnificent later onn you touch the Leh Manali highway at Dibling, after Dibling you will reach the second world highest motorable road Taklang-la, From the top of the pass fantastic landscape view for the photographers and then down the hill you reach several villages like Rumtse which is the trekking point to Tso-mo-ri-ri lake. After that you reach Upshi touching the same rout and back to Leh.
