It is the food same like Thukpa, Thenthuk is another food which is healthy and delicious to have. The meal is made of a dough of wheat flour and is cooked in the soup along with vegetables and meat. Unlike Thukpa, the dough of Thenthuk is not modeled in the noodles but gets flattened. It can be added only when the meat and vegetables are boiled nicely.
The translation of ‘Thenthuk’ in Tibetan is pulled noodle, in Tibetan, ‘then’ means pull whereas ‘Thuk’ means noodle. While it looks simple to cook, if you ask the Tibetan cook, you’ll get to know that it requires a lot of preparation to come to the end product. Again, it is another dish which can be found easily around Leh. You may also add momos in the soup and enjoy the different and amazing combination.
