Leh Palace: It was built in the 17th century and consist of nine storeys, Leh has quite a few interesting places to offer. One can start with the Leh Palace that rises from the edge of the hills overlooking the main town and stretches towards the Indigo sky.
Shey Palace: Located at the distance of 12 km from the south of Leh, it was the seat of power for the first Ladakh king, LhachenSpalgigon who constructed the top fortress of hills. Its ruins can be seen above the Shey Palace.
Thiksey Monastery: In the south of Leh, the most beautiful of all the monasteries in Ladakh belongs to Gelukspa order. Presently, 80-90 monks reside here.
Zanskar range: The range lies to the north of Himalayas. It is the backbone of Ladakh Indus river on the south, stretching from the ridges beyond Lamayuru in the west across the Zanskar region where it is divided from the Himalayas by Tsarap and Stod Valleys.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at the Leh airport. It is advised to take the complete rest for the day so that you can adapt yourself to the new environment at the altitude of 11,135 feet. In the evening, visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: After completing breakfast, proceed to visit Stok Palace Museum, Thiksey Monastery, and Sindhu Ghats. Later, drive towards Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame and Sangam. In the evening, return to Leh and take rest.
